Working nicely in a 'snow storm'

GUISBURN GOLDEN COBWEB was bred by Nick and Melanie Gaddas-Brown of Guisburn Arabians near Darlington.

He is by the multi – champion show pony stallion WILLOWCROFT REGAL BRONZE out of GUISBURN SHAZEHRA, a pure bred Arabian mare of old English bloodlines.

WILLOWCROFT REGAL BRONZE was one of the most successful ridden champion lines from Australia, which originally derive from the most prolific of English lines, movement being one of the most dominant attributes in his breeding. Regal Bronze has himself inherited this quality and his full brother WILLOWCROFT REGAL EMBLEM, in Australia, is renowned for breeding outstanding movers, and bred the Supreme Champion foal at The British National Foal Show 2004.

GUISBURN GOLDEN COBWEB has been with us for a few weeks starting his education. He has just been backed and is going nicely in walk trot and canter. He has inherited his sires excellent movement and correct conformation. He is a lovely gelding with a promising future in front of him.

Paul Axcell, his owner based near Hexham, is intending to produce him in the discipline of endurance and performance horse. I am sure he will do well. We wish both Paul and  GUISBURN GOLDEN COBWEB well for the future.

However, it does take time to develop muscle, carriage and balance.
